Hello, I am looking for beginning Reiki up through the master teaching courses available in Montana. Preferably as close to Kalispell as possible. About a year ago it seemed there were many more available options and healers/teachers in the area. At the time I was not ready to dive further than practicing what knowledge and natural, instinctual healing I use. A few teachers/healers have left the area since then. Being a mother of one, I have been trying to find something suitable and nearby for convenience. I was hoping you could help with some information to help this dream become more of a reality.

I see he provides a good amount of information on Reiki as well as forms of meditation, very similar interests to my own.

You are right in that Reiki can be just as effective without physical contact between the client and practitioner. I obtained my training through the International Center for Reiki Training. Their instruction indicated that light touch or positioning the hands just above the body, as stated on my website and blog, is equally effective. The Reiki energy itself flows where it is needed.

Reiki practitioners should always be respectful of a clients privacy and their wishes and it is recommended that they always ask a client if they are sensitive to touch before beginning any treatment session. If they are, the practitioner may choose to place their hands just above the body in the traditional positions to conduct the session.

I have been taught that REIKI is a hands off healing. NO TOUCHING and I do not touch my reiki patients and they seem to get healed without touch. Most woman would not want to be touched. I just found your site. So far it is vwery nice and informative.
