Thank you for writing. I am hopeful I can help you find someone close to you that can provide the training you are interested in.

If you visit our Practitioner page at http://www.reikimontana.com/practitioner.html you may find someone closer to Kalispell.

We have a RMT (Master- Teacher) listings for:

Diana Schmeling (Corvallis)- (406) 961-5262
Caroline Kiley (Missoula)- (406) 543-3221
Luke Osbourne (Missoula)- (406) 728-0258

I also show a business listing for "Hands with a Heart Massage" located in Whitefish. 406-862-3808. I am not certain if they provide Reiki training anymore, but it may be worth a phone call as it is close to you.

Best wishes.

Namaste'

Preferably as close to Kalispell as possible. About a year ago it seemed there were many more available options and healers/teachers in the area. At the time I was not ready to dive further than practicing what knowledge and natural, instinctual healing I use. A few teachers/healers have left the area since then. Being a mother of one, I have been trying to find something suitable and nearby for convenience. I was hoping you could help with some information to help this dream become more of a reality.

Peace and Thank you,
Caitlin

Comment on Reiki Hand Positions

Hello again. Very good to hear from you. I am not that familiar with Frank Arjava Petter but thank you for the reference as I have visited his website and will peruse his works. I see he provides a good amount of information on Reiki as well as forms of meditation, very similar interests to my own.

Best always.

Michael

Comment on Reiki Hand Positions

I work with them on thier distance healing site. I obtained my training through the International Center for Reiki Training. Their instruction indicated that light touch or positioning the hands just above the body, as stated on my website and blog, is equally effective. The Reiki energy itself flows where it is needed.

Reiki practitioners should always be respectful of a clients privacy and their wishes and it is recommended that they always ask a client if they are sensitive to touch before beginning any treatment session. If they are, the practitioner may choose to place their hands just above the body in the traditional positions to conduct the session.

Please do visit the International Center for Reiki Training at www.reiki.org for additional information regarding Reiki practitioner training and frequently asked questions.

Namaste'

Michael

Comment on So, what is Reiki ?

I have been taught that REIKI is a hands off healing. NO TOUCHING and I do not touch my reiki patients and they seem to get healed without touch. Most woman would not want to be touched. I just found your site. So far it is vwery nice and informative.
